"...But by my Spirit!"

The Holy Spirit movie has made an impact on the christian community, I wished for the better but obviously not. A lot of people believe it's spiritual connotations as dismissive rather than believing what is happening. It was a good documentary that followed the Holy Spirit and His leadings. Not man's ways of "getting people saved by their efforts." Showing people what it is to be lead by the Spirit. In one part, a English accented person was witnessing to people saying works are dead only the word of God can be trusted. Last time I checked, it was the Holy Spirit flowing thru the "early church" Christians, healing people not us. So what are they trying to say? The Holy Spirit is doing nothing today? Heaven forbid! It is by His works we see the glory of God. It is not just about knowing the word of God and having faith but works too. In James 2:14-17 "What good is it, my brothers, if someone claims to have faith but has no actions to prove it? Is such “faith” able to save him? Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food, and someone says to him, “Shalom! Keep warm and eat hearty!” without giving him what he needs, what good does it do? Thus, faith by itself, unaccompanied by actions, is dead."
The church today is so off the mark of where Abba wants us to be with Him. The church says "But we save people, we feed them, we tell them what they need to know." Abba wants US to have a personal relationship with Him not the church! We don't do anything! Abba & His Spirit does it! Yeshua followed the heart of Abba and that's what we are suppose to do and not follow our will & needs. We need to mature in Yeshua, hear the heart of Abba and follow where the Spirit will guide us. He knows what is in people's hearts. When was the last time you knew what was in someone's nefesh? That's why He needs to guide us. If we would just do that, how efficient do you think we would be? A lot less time would be wasted then us running around in circles.
When I was witnessing in downtown Albany, NY with another church, my church didn't do it at the time, we would go up & down Central Ave then the side streets. The second time I went with them, we approached a group of adults. Our group started to pray & talk to them. There was this older gentleman off to the side sweeping in front of his home. He was of a different race then the group. His countenance was angry & sad, being excluded from the group once again. The Spirit started to nudging me, wanting me to go over to him. I did by myself after several nudgings. When I gave him a tract, his face lit up. Most of the area around us was their ethnic group but I started noticing they would only go to their race. After several times going with them, they wanted me to start using only their tracts w/ their church name on it. There are so many people out there with hurting hearts. Why do we shut ourselves up in our churches, ignoring the unbelievers? One church, in how many that are in downtown Albany, would actually witnessed to people and then be bias on skin color? Auggh! What's wrong with this picture?
In times of old, unbelievers knew of Abba, the God of the Jews. You had to become Jewish to be with Him. Now, with Yeshua dying on the cross, all can have His Spirit in them. This is great news! What will it take for people to let the Spirit lead them? A true personal relationship with Him! Abba is a jealous God and will not share His glory with anyone. People need to seek and hear Him. It is possible to hear Him, this is not sorcery, satan will not help, will not heal, will not do the things of God. People have lost this in the church age, seeking Abba by other means. We need to do what Yeshua did on this earth. He followed Abba's Spirit, healed the sick, ministered to the poor, helped the hurting and the lost. He did this mostly to the Jewish nation but we have The Holy Spirit in us now and we are to go to the whole world following the Spirit for His Glory.
Zechariah 4:6 Then he said to me, “Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord of hosts

John 16:13-15 However, when the Spirit of Truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth; for he will not speak on his own initiative but will say only what he hears. He will also announce to you the events of the future. He will glorify me, because he will receive from what is mine and announce it to you. Everything the Father has is mine; this is why I said that he receives from what is mine and will announce it to you.
