"He's Alive!"

"He's alive" song is another one of my top ten favorite songs when I was a kid. The singer/writer Don Francisco sang it as thru the eyes of Peter after he denies Yeshua. Another one like it is "Touch of the master's hand" by Wayne Watson. The older versions of their songs are the best.
Anyway, one day my mom was creating and drawing scripture on some index cards. There was one that I loved the most, it said " I AM..... more than enough!" In black marker and in color markers around it she wrote the
names of Yeshua; Mighty God, Prince of Peace, counselor, etc.. When I picked it up reading it, I could feel Yeshua saying "I'm Alive!"I told my mom you forgot he's alive. She said your right. She took the card back and wrote "ALIVE!" In yellow marker underlined with black marker. It was cool. To this day I never forgot that and made one into a banner that hangs on my bedroom wall. Sometimes we forget that Abba is there waiting to help us. He is not distant, aloof, or against us. He wants to be part of our lives, intimate and personal like a true father would. Yeshua died & rose from the grave taking our punishment and now we can be with Abba once again in fellowship. Yeshua is alive! ready to help & teach us, giving us the Holy Spirit to guide us and hear Him. He wants us to believe He is there to help. He's Alive!
Philippians 4:19 "And my God shall supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

He's Alive
The gates and doors were barred
And all the windows fastened down
I spent the night in sleeplessness
And rose at every sound
Half in hopeless sorrow
And half in fear of the day
Would find the soldiers breakin' through to drag us all away

And just before the sunrise
I heard something at the wall
The gate began to rattle
And the voice began to call
hurried to the window
Looked down into the street
Expecting swords and torches
And the sound of soldiers' feet
there was no one there but Mary
So I went down to let her in
John stood there beside me
As she told us where she'd been
She said they moved Him in the night
And none of us knows where
The stone's been rolled away
And now His body isn't there

We both ran toward the garden
Then John ran on ahead
We found the stone and empty tomb
Just the way that Mary said
But the winding sheet they wrapped Him in Was just an empty shell
And how or where they'd taken Him
Was more than I could tell

Well something strange had happened there Just what did not know
John believed a miracle
But I just turned to go
Circumstance and speculation
Couldn't lift me very high
'Cause I'd seen them crucify him
Then I saw him die

Back inside the house again
The guilt and anguish came
Everything I'd promised Him
Just added to my shame
When at last it came to choices
I denied I knew His name
And even if He was alive
It wouldn't be the same

Then suddenly the air was filled
With strange and sweet perfume
Light that came from everywhere
Drove shadows from the room
Jesus stood before me
With his arms held open wide
I fell down on my knees
And just clung to Him and cried

He raised me to my feet
And as I looked into His eyes
love was shining out from Him
Like sunlight from the skies
Guilt in my confusion
Dissappeared in sweet release
And every fear I'd ever had
Just melted into peace

He's alive, He's alive
He's alive and I'm forgiven
Heaven's gates are open wide
He's alive, He's alive
He's alive and I'm forgiven
Heaven's gates are open wide
He's alive, He's alive
He's alive and I'm forgiven
Heaven's gates are open wide
He's alive, He's alive,
He's alive

Pieces to the puzzle

I love the app "Jigsaw Puzzle" it is pretty small on my IPod touch and was probably made for the iPad but it is still my favorite. I also can use my own pics if I want and listen to my music while playing. It is funny how something so small can be so relaxing. Putting the pieces together and seeing progress.
I think of us as being pieces to Abba's puzzle. Each piece unique in design, only able to fit in that one area making a picture, a reflection of himself. Each one of us specially created to do His work, to do that special task only we can do. No one else was created to do the same thing. At times believers must take on a task that was meant for someone else to do but cannot fulfill it. We all have a special aspect of Abba only we can see and fulfill. We need to come together as one with other believers to connect and share who Abba is. If someone is given a revelation about something and another believer has the same revelation but with a different aspect of it, they are making the revelation more complete. It is sad believers use pride, indifference, rules & regulations to separate His bride. Can you imagine what could happen if the body of Christ came together as one? A bride ready for her husband. Knowing who he is, seeing his heart, having true intimacy, seeing his love for his bride, expecting for the time to come.

The Lake House

The Lake House movie is my favorite movie of all time. Mostly because the two main characters are just like me & Bob. Both characters have our mannerisms and it even has his baby brother's playful antics in it.
Anyway, in the movie, the lake house has a unique design. There is an oak tree planted in the ground and is growing in the center of it. As a true believer, the design reminds me of the lake house being us and the tree being Yeshua. The lake house has walls made of glass. We as believers at times have our curtains inside of us drawn never letting people see inside. Aren't we representatives of Yeshua here on earth with the Holy Spirit guiding us? What are we afraid of? Why are we so afraid of people knowing us? Isn't that what we want to see in people? How much different the world could be if people had no hidden agendas, no quid pro quo, just total honesty with one another. To be moved by the Spirit and help the hurting world regardless if they are saved or not. I want to be just like the early christians who had the Holy Spirit move & guide them, to be a lake house with glass panel walls and maker of the tree of life inside. To welcome people with open arms, showing them they have a father who will love and accept them forever.
John 15:5 "I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing."

"Final Destination"

It is strange how true believers view death. Thinking you'll die, be gone forever off this earth as Heaven will be the final destination. There is so much more the bible explains but is never talked about because the church leaders do not understand. There has been so many different religious groups started because of this issue, in Yeshua's time and ours. "The church" for the most part has taken many scriptures out of context and changed the meaning to fit their agenda or skewed understanding. Only the Holy Spirit has the real truth, not man's attempted knowledge of the bible. We must hear what the Holy Spirit teaches us. After all, didn't He tell them what to write.
Anyway, to go back to the beginning of the bible, the Tanach really doesn't speak much about Heaven other then the place where Abba dwells. That is because it was never the final destination. True believers right now who have passed away are in Heaven only because their "outer man" has died but their "spirit man" is still alive. When Adam & Eve sinned, that separated us from the spirit realm, our "spirt man" died, we were no longer one with Abba. Our "spirit man" need to be restored. When Yeshua died on the cross, we could be one with Abba once again. We have the Holy Spirit in us, for all truth. When we start the millennium reign, that is when our spirit bodies are restored with our "outer man" bodies becoming one once again. Right now Heaven is just one big giant Noah's Ark. It is the New Jerusalem that will be on the new earth after millennium reign & judgment seat. Then it will be The Age, the age to come and in New Jerusalem, we will not marry or have kids any more. Also we will each have our own house. When I saw my house in heaven, I didn't see a upstairs. I wondered about that then Abba showed me why. People that have gone to heaven describe it as the New Jerusalem that is probably why the church thinks heaven is their final destination but that is not what the bible says. Abba will make a new heaven & earth and the Holy City, New Jerusalem, coming down from Heaven but that's after the millennium reign  No you can't have kids in heaven, because your bodies will be here for now but during the millennium reign when we get our bodies back restored will be able to. Abba showed me my kids back in 2008. I will have them in the millennium reign. "Blessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection ( millennium reign); over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years." Rev 20:6. we can't die in the millennium only the ones that were born during that time.
True believers who "died", before Yeshua removed the curse, went to paradise. It was on the other side of hell, between the chasm Luke 16:26. The dead were still down there on the earth separated from Heaven where Abba & Yeshua dwelled. The tanach warned us about talking to the dead. The reason Saul could talk to Samuel because he was still on the earth in paradise but that all changed when Yeshua died on the cross. You try that now, it won't work. The earth is satan's territory. You will be talking to demons not true believers. The only way you can speak to a true believer, who are in heaven, is to have permission by Abba thru His Spirit. Only He can allow you to speak to them but you must also believe you can too. People don't understand this because of what the church has done. It is all about having a true relationship with Abba, not a religion about Abba. Hearing and talking to Him. He is our "Daddy". So many people are in bondage to the rules church leaders put on His kids. Not knowing His truth, not hearing His Spirit speak to us. We must have The Holy Spirit guide us to hear Abba and obey! Yeshua gave us a "helper" for a reason to be part of our lives, not to just talk about Him in church. We are never going to die. Abba will never kill us spiritually. Our nefesh will either cry out to Yeshua or reject Him and go to hell then after the judgment, to the lake of fire forever.
When we are brought back to live in the millennium reign. Yeshua will have His kingdom on the earth and rule for a thousdand years. Paul said "For He must reign until he has put all His enemies under His feet. The last enemy that will be abolished is death." In 1 Corinthians 15:20-26 it explains what Yeshua did and what He will do, so He can hand the kingdom back over to Abba. "But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who are asleep. For since by a man came death, by a man also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive. But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, after that those who are Christ’s at His coming, then comes the end, when He hands over the kingdom to the God and Father, when He has abolished all rule and all authority and power. For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet. The last enemy that will be abolished is death."
After the thousand year reign, the judgment seat will judge all of mankind, lusifer and his army are judged and thrown into the lake of fire along with those who rejected Yeshua. Death is abolished. Abba will make a new Heaven & Earth and live with us once again like when we were in the garden. In revelation ch 21:2, speaks of the Holy City, New Jerusalem, coming down from Heaven and Abba is with us. Rev. 21:3. This is The Age, the age to come.
Luke 20: 34- 38, Yeshua said to them, “The Sadducees of this age marry and are given in marriage, but those who are considered worthy to attain to that age and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry nor are given in marriage; for they cannot even die anymore, because they are like angels, and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection. “But that the dead are raised, even Moses showed, in the passage about the burning bush, where he calls the Lord THE GOD OF ABRAHAM, AND THE GOD OF ISAAC, AND THE GOD OF JACOB. “Now He is not the God of the dead but of the living; for all live to Him.” Abba and Yeshua also know that we will not be living in heaven forever. They know that we will be on the new earth, the New Jerusalem, living with them. We are Abba's kids, and as Yeshua puts it "He is not the God of the dead but of the living" well said Yeshua!

"There are no Accidents"

Thru out my life Abba would use different things to get His point across, to teach me. Most of the time He would use humor. I guess at times I can be to literal and serious. So for several years, Abba has been using different movies to help me grow up. Showing me different things in my life, helping me to change into what He wants me to be. The movie He is using this time is "Kung Fu Panda." When I watched it in the Drive - in's on Sat night in 2008, I did notice some things in the movie that was me but I just brushed it off. Then later that week, at Wednesday's bible study, we broke off and some of the elders went around and prayed with people. One of the elders came over to me and started to pray over me, not with me. She was praying in tongues and then all of a sudden she shouts out "mighty warrior" I looked at her in astonishment and she looks back at me shock and dismayed then just walked away. I told my mom what happened that night and she looked me also not believing. As I was talking to her about it, I was remembering things in the movie thinking "how am I going to be a mighty warrior for Abba? There is no way, people don't believe me and think I'm a freak."
So now, for this past year, a lot of things in the movie are starting to become fulfilled. Every part of that movie, I'm just like Po. When I concentrate on the bible, I stink. Abba always has to reveal things to me. I don't do well studying but if I watch or am told things, I get the concept most of the time. I was always a D student in english. Abba has to help me with these blogs, I usually can tell if the Holy Spirit helped me or I am just rambling - big difference between them. Also this past year, even the football team I was on changed their colors to black and white. Not a accident.
So no matter what Abba does, I know he is going to finish what he started. It is hard to see my self as Abba sees me but we must see that we are not accidents but created and chosen by Him to do His will no matter how we feel about ourselves. It is not for me to worry, Abba is in control, not by my timing but His and by His Spirit, I'll be able to do what He wants me to do.

"our hearts desire"

Back in 1977, there was a show on TV called Emergency. The show was about being a firefighter/ paramedic in the Fire Service. The wailing sound of the sirens would wake me up. I was 4 years old and would sneak down stairs and sit on the top landing to watch the show. Sometimes, when my cousin Michael would catch me, I would get a spanking but it was so worth it and now I can watch it on Netflix anytime I want. This desire is still with me today, I'm a vol. Firefighter/ EMT for the West Albany Fire Dept.
Anyway the thing is, Abba has already provided for us what He wants us to do. He always has me as a "Rescuer" in more ways than one but He set that up already, before I was born. It is a provision by Him for me to do His will. People get upset because they have no idea what Abba might want them to do but they need to remember He has already provided according to His will. How will you know? Having His Spirit confirm it. Plus didn't Yeshua say His yoke is easy, His burden is light? Abba has already given us the ability to do His will. It is when we line up our will with His will, our real hearts desires will flow. Ephesians 2:10 "For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago."  "Yet those who wait for the LORD Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary"
Isaiah 40:31

"To The Sky"
Adam Young

Shipwreck in a sea of faces
There's a dreamy world up there
Dear friends in higher places
Carry me away from here

Travel light, let the sun eclipse you
'Cause your flight is about to leave
And there's more to this brave adventure
Than you'd ever believe

Birdseye view, awake the stars 'cause they're all around you
Wide eyes will always brighten the blue
Chase your dreams, and remember me, sweet bravery
'Cause after all those wings will take you up so high

So bid the forest floor goodbye
As you race the wind and take to the sky
You take to the sky

On the heels of war and wonder
There's a stormy world up there
You can't whisper above the thunder
But you can fly anywhere

Purple burst of paper birds this
Picture paints a thousand words
So take a breath of myth and mystery
And don't look back

Birdseye view, awake the stars 'cause they're all around you
Wide eyes will always brighten the blue
Chase your dreams, and remember me, sweet bravery
'Cause after all those wings will take you up so high

So bid the forest floor goodbye
As you race the wind and take to the sky
(Take to the sky)

There's a realm above the trees
Where the lost are finally found
Touch your feathers to the breeze
And leave the ground

Birdseye view, awake the stars 'cause they're all around you
Wide eyes will always brighten the blue
Chase your dreams, and remember me, sweet bravery
'Cause after all those wings will take you up so high

So bid the forest floor goodbye
As you race the wind and take to the sky
You take to the sky
(You take to the sky)
You take to the sky

"Lord of the Harvest"

In 1982 the Imperials came out with a song called "Lord of the harvest" it was never a popular song but every time it was on the radio my mom would always ask me this one question "Do you know what your name means?" Before the song came out, I can remember she started telling me what my name meant since I was 4. She would always make sure I knew what my name meant "reaper of the harvest" from her baby book. Now every time I hear this song, I think of my name.
The song states that we bring them home. Yes in a way we do help Abba but He is the one that stirs their hearts. We can't save anyone. It is by the power of the Holy Spirit that convict their hearts, not us! We need to do what the Holy Spirit directs us to do because only He knows what's in their hearts(nefesh). Remember we are the taxi cabs, Abba is the driver. Some people get upset when a spouse, family member, or friend rejects Yeshua. There is no way we can force their nefesh to think otherwise. Something is blocking them from trusting in Abba. Only Abba knows what that is and how to fix it. Sometimes, the only way for them to get to the truth, is for only Yeshua to ask them that question. The best thing we can do is pray for them and listen to what the Holy Spirit wants us to do. We also need to BELIEVE that Abba is in control and that He will take care of them. When we go out and witness to people, we need to listen to the Holy Spirit because He needs to direct us. I don't worry anymore if I did a good job or not, because it is the Holy Spirits job, not mine. On my first time witnessing in downtown Albany, I was giving these special 1,000,000 dollar tracts out. I got them from the way of the master store. The group split up some on one side of the street and some on the other going down Central ave. We had stopped in front of the beauty shop and they went in. I stayed out and gave some to kids outside. Then another kid started coming towards me and reach out his hand, right then the lady behind me asked for one. I knew I had only one left. The kid asked for it first but I knew in my spirit the lady should have had it. I was torn. Kids in poor areas have trust issues. I reached and started to hand the tract to the kid and a gust of wind blew the tract out of my hand and split in two. I was in awe, I knew I only had one left. I picked up the two tracts and handed one to each.
If we give a opportunity for the Holy Spirit to move, He will. It is when we put Abba in a box and only think what He does is only in a box, our faith will suffer. Our faith is the actions of our beliefs. What we believe determines how much faith we will have. We need to listen and trust that Abba will always be in control.

Lord of the Harvest

See the fields, ripe and white as snow
Up from the seeds of faith we planted long ago
So many the hearts in season
With every prayer they've grown
He has made them ready
But we must bring them home

Lord of the harvest place your fire in me
Servant you need now, servant I will be
Give me the eyes of your spirit,
Your heart of compassion to know
Lord of the harvest, show me where to go

Time like a free wind, so quickly slips away
Too soon today's tomorrow, too soon yesterday
So little time for the reaping and the laborers are few
Lift your head to the fields of white
The work that we must do

Lord of the harvest place your fire in me
Servant you need now, servant I will be
Give me the eyes of your spirit,
Your heart of compassion to know
Wherever you may lead me
Lord of the Harvest, Lord of the Harvest I'll Go

Lord of the harvest place your fire in me
Servant you need now, servant I will be
Give me the eyes of your spirit,
Your heart of compassion to know
Wherever you may lead me
Lord of the Harvest, Lord of the Harvest I'll Go
Lord of the Harvest I'll Go
See the fields

"The Secrets of Jonathan Sperry"

Last week I finally saw the movie "The Secrets of Jonathan Sperry"
Abba has been bugging me for a while now and I finally got the time. It is a true christian story about our walk with Abba and the impact of witnessing. Very good story, it will be well worth your time.

Nitro Power!

Sorry, it has been awhile since my last blog entry. Since Oct 2011 I have been taking care of my Aunt Shirley every Saturday because my Aunt Agnes had to have heart surgery. Then I was dealing with my med insurance to cover a C-pap machine. They said I should have had it when I was young. My sister would always yank on my nose because of snoring and I keep falling asleep in class in 1st grade. I finally get one in January and the nose mask is causing me to swallow air. I get switch to a full face because I’m considered a mouth breather. Abba always adds humor to everything in my life. I truly can say that, I now look like Horton the Elephant. I was having problems with the mask and sleep was eluding me but now I have a good mask and I do notice things different. I am also under a curfew until July. I need to be in bed by 9pm yipes! If I don’t make the 76% usage my insurance won’t pay. Doh! With all this going on I also joined The Northeastern Nitro’s IWFL football team in the beginning of January, Whew! So the weekends have been filled with my aunt and football and the weekdays I play catch–up. So I have been writing little notes on some post it note paper and saving them. I think I’ll have a book by the time July comes but right now I need to study the plays and get fit. So until then my brain will be in football mode – “Find the ball, get the ball, where’s the ball, find the ball, get the ball……”

"Raise these arms"

Guardians of Ga’Hoole series by Kathryn Lasky has been one of my favorite books. She uses WWII and the Nazi regime analogy showing the good owls "The Guardians" defeating the bad owls "Pure ones." The Guardians motto is "To make strong the weak, mend the broken, and vanquish the evil." This saying always reminded me of a song I love called "Raise these arms" by David Meece. The song sounds like a fighting song but it is actually just the opposite. "Raise these arms means just that, to just raise our arms up in total surrender. Surrendering our nefesh to do Abba's will His way by His Spirit moving in us.  Matthew 10:20 "For it is not you who speak, but it is the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you." The Spirit has to direct us because she knows whats in people's hearts - not us. Thats why we need to hear, to obey, and to act what the Spirit is telling us to do. Then we can say "To make strong the weak, mend the broken, and without hesitation vanquish the evil."
"Raise These Arms"
by David Meece

In the ease of unconcern
I rested lazily
To the sound of the careless songs
Well, it almost got the best of me
'Till I heard the prophet's anger
Echo from the centuries
'Till I couldn't fight the truth
I could only answer

I will raise these arms
With the reapers of the harvest
With the servants of the Lord
I will raise these arms
In the field and in the vineyard
I will labor
I will raise these arms
Yes I will

Say to those who sleep in Zion
Now the time has come to rise
Can you hear the voice of Jesus
See the fire in His eyes?
Who will go and help the hopeless
Who will go and help the weak?
Lead the lost sheep to the shepherd
Who will answer?

I will raise these arms
With the reapers of the harvest
With the servants of the Lord
I will raise these arms
In the field and in the vineyard
I will labor
I will raise these arms

We have wrestled with the angel
We've wandered in the night
And we've lost our way in pointless games
Now it's time to stop pretending
Time we get up on our feet and say
Hey, Hey

I will raise these arms
With the reapers of the harvest
With the servants of the Lord
I will raise these arms
In the field and in the vineyard
I will labor
I will raise these arms

“Everyone goes home”

Last night I was at a firehouse seminar and it was on firefighter survival and safety. The instructor impressed upon us how important the SOP’s are and how we, as firefighters, can be so headstrong that we can leave a trail in our wake and not consider the people we are hurting. We are trained to save people but if we let pride get in our way of thinking and not listen to others, people will get hurt. We will always be firefighters, headstrong scrappers, but we need to put ourselves in our family shoes. Careless acts can always be avoided.
This can also be true to the “body of Christ” True believers need to see how hurtful they can be. Just in the difference in one's beliefs alone can do damage. In Romans 12:9, it says “Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good.” Just don’t pretend to be nice to others but really treat them as you would want to be treated regardless of how different you are to them and what you believe. It also says hate what is evil. That speaks of evil from the evil one, not a person’s point of view. Don’t hate them just because you have a difference of opinion. Abba uses everyone differently for His purpose. We all think and understand things at different levels. If Abba tells something to someone but hasn’t revealed it to you, do not treat that person as if they are a freak. Please remember, what we sow we will also reap. Put yourself in their shoes for a minute. Is this how you would want to be treated? What if they are right and have proof will you still dismiss them because it doesn’t meet your philosophy? If we are to grow in the Spirit we need to be humble and not prideful thinking that we are in control, because we are not, only Abba is. Philippians 3:15 "All of us who are mature should take such a view of things. And if on some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you."

The Key to Worship

What is worship for a true believer?  It is a love relationship between you and Abba, a father loving his kids while we get to love Him back. So what is the key? It is a total surrender of your nefesh. Unfortunately, this is the one area that is most misunderstood when we are to be one with Him in spirit & truth. What does that mean to a true believer? In the Spirit, our nefesh allows us to feel His heart, His love, His peace as He talks to us. It is not just hearing Him, you feel His emotions, His nudging’s, His Spirit guiding and showing us. Truth – is the result of what comes out of our nefesh. It will always say what is in your heart, no matter what is in there, because you have no control over it. You have no thoughts. Your words and emotions just pour out of you and spiritually speaking, that is what speaks to Abba. Abba is in the spirit and we must be in the spirit to be in His presence. What is bad about this is no one can teach you. You are the only one that can connect with Abba because your nefesh must be one with Him. That is what true intimacy is with Abba. How can you know? Because of the peace you will have. Remember how we were when we were first born again? The peace we had? True intimacy we had. We need to go back to our first love. Worship is the key to that. We all love “love songs” that special one that reminds us of the love of our life every time we hear it. We need that worship song to exalt Him and give Him respect but at the same time to love Him. He is our Abba(Daddy). Dennis Jernigan is one of my favorite worship song writers. He has an album called “We Will Worship”. My favorite song ever is “You Are My Glory / When the Night Is Falling” here is the words to the song enjoy :O)
You may have thought that worship was simply our expression of praise to God but worship is so much more than us just singing to him or even about Him. Worship also means God expressing His heart back to us. Are you listening? What is he saying to you right now? Our father’s desire for you is that you’d know how much delight he takes in your presence. Now I love to sing songs of peace & comfort over my own children in the night and I’m an earthly father, so how much more our heavenly father loves to sing over us? God’s word, according to Zephaniah 3:17, says this “For the Lord your God is with you, He is mighty to save and He will take great delight in you and He will quiet you with His love and He will rejoice over you with singing.”

When I think of joy,
You come on my mind
For You are like the richest treasure
I could ever find

Joy to me is you,
Child you are who I'm after
And did you know
You bring joy and laughter
To my soul

You are my glory
You are my song,
The apple of my eye, my heart
Is home where You belong

You are my glory,
You are my love song,
You are the glory of my heart;
You are my song

You are my glory,
You are my song,
The apple of my eye, my heart
Is home where you belong

You are my glory,
You are my love song,
You are the glory of my heart;
You are my song
You are the glory of my heart;
You are my song.

When the night is falling
And the day is done,
I can hear you calling, "Come."
And I will come
While you sing over me.

When the night surrounds me,
All my dreams undone,
I can hear you calling, "Come."
And I will come
While you sing over me.

When the night would hide my way,
I will listen until
I hear you say:

"How I love you, child, I love you.
How I love you, child, I love you.
How I love you!

"How I love you, child, I love you.
How I love you, child, I love you.
How I love you!"

Hallelujah, hallelujah,
Hallelujah, hallelujah!
Hallelujah!

How I love you, Lord, I love you.
How I love you, Lord, I love you.
How I love you!

When this life is over
And the race is done,
I will hear you calling, "Come."
I will come
While you sing over me.

"What foundation are you on?"

"You hear me, but don't listen" That was my mom's favorite catch phrase with me while I was growing up. This saying reminds me a lot of one of the disciples, Judas Iscariot. He heard Yeshua but didn't really listen. He had hardened his heart. He was set on Yeshua becoming king. All of the disciples thought He was to reign as king. Even Paul thought Yeshua was coming back again soon. So soon, He was telling us it would be better if we didn't marry. On the night of Yeshua's capture, All 12 were together eating the Pesach meal. I can only wonder what Judas was thinking at that moment and why He would betray his Lord and what he said that night.
What Judas might have said that night thinking to himself "Why all this tradition? He says, he is the messiah, then why doesn't he rule as king and smite our enemies! Yet he does nothing while we are persecuted. The Pharisees want him, they can have him. Should it be tonight? yes, tonight should be good. He says he will be going away and then coming back. Let’s see if it is true. They won’t be able to kill him anyway with all his magic and I can make a quick a denarii out of it. I‘ve been wanting that piece of land for a while and now I’ll be able to have it. This is my money for me and I’m taking back what is mine & more. I deserve it, this is mine and not theirs to give it away.” Yeshua begins to speak and says “Truly I say to you that one of you will betray Me.” Being deeply grieved, they each one began to say to Yeshua, “Surely not I, LORD?” and He answered, “He who dipped his hand with Me in the bowl is the one who will betray Me. The Son of Man is to go, just as it is written of Him; but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been good for that man if he had not been born.” Judas said, “Surely it is not I, RABBI?” Yeshua said “You have said it yourself.” Judas thinking to himself “How did he know? Did they follow me or did the Pharisees send another? It doesn’t matter he can’t do anything to me, I’m protected by God.”
Did Judas think Yeshua was just a good rabbi? It seems he never had that relationship that Peter had. He heard He was the messiah but probably never believed it deep down in his nefesh. He never had that strong foundation (relationship) with Him. People say they are close to Abba, how close are you? If you died, would your nefesh cry out to Abba or think Yeshua was just a good rabbi? What foundation are you on?

"The Silversmith"

My mom gave this to me from GodVine enjoy ;O)

There was a group of women in a Bible Study on the book of Malachi. As they were studying chapter three, they came across verse three which says: "He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver."

This verse puzzled the women and they wondered what this statement meant about the character and nature of God.

One of the women offered to find out about the process of refining silver and get back to the group a their next Bible study. That week this woman called up a silversmith and made an appointment to watch him at work. She didn't mention anything about the reason for her interest or her curiosity about the process of refining silver. As she watched the silversmith, he held a piece of silver over the fire and let it heat up. He explained that in refining silver, one needed to hold the silver in the middle of the fire where the flames were hottest as to burn away all the impurities.

The woman thought about God holding us in such a hot spot- then she thought again about the verse, that he sits as a refiner and purifier of silver. She asked the silversmith if it was true that he had to sit there in front of the fire the whole time the silver was being refined. The man answered "yes," he not only had to sit there holding the silver, but he had to keep his eye on the silver the entire time it was in the fire. If the silver was left even a moment too long in the flames, it would be destroyed.

The woman was silent for a moment. Then she asked the silversmith, "How do you know when the silver is fully refined?" He smiled at her and answered, "Oh that's easy. When I see my image in it."

If today you are feeling the heat of this world's fire, just remember that God has his eyes on you.

Ambulance chasers

I was driving to work today and saw a Colonie ambulance in front of me. I saw a daughter with her elderly mom who was on the stretcher and a paramedic by her side. They were on route to St. Peters hospital. The hospital is known for their cardiac care. I then started to think about the children of God becoming ambulance chasers. The name by itself made me laugh because the saying has such a bad association from lawyers. But what if God's people changed it for good and we become the “ambulance chasers.” In Acts 5:12-16 “At the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were taking place among the people; and they were all with one accord in Solomon’s portico. But none of the rest dared to associate with them; however, the people held them in high esteem. And all the more believers in the Lord, multitudes of men and women, were constantly added to their number, to such an extent that they even carried the sick out into the streets and laid them on cots and pallets, so that when Peter came by at least his shadow might fall on any one of them. Also the people from the cities in the vicinity of Jerusalem were coming together, bringing people who were sick or afflicted with unclean spirits, and they were all being healed.”
Can you imagine what would happen today if we were just walking thru a hospital and Abba would have our shadow’s heal people? People would be just getting up and walking out. The hospitals would be in utter chaos. That would be totally awesome! in a good way anyway. The hospitals would probably ban His kids from even coming in, armed guards would probably be stationed at the front door. So what would it take for us to be able to be in the Spirit 24/7? A lot of concentration but it would be totally worth it. It is so hard for us now with the cares of this world. In Acts 9v40 Peter had to get everyone out to concentrate for a moment before he could hear The Spirit and pray. He always had his nefesh open to what The Holy Spirit said to him. Like Peter we need to empty ourselves and not quench the Spirit so we can become the “Ambulance Chasers”

"Live on in my love"

This is an oldie but goodie song but the problem is a lot of my favorite songs still have not made it to MP3's. I'm still trying to find the song "Deuteronomy". It has eluded me for a long time. At least I have the record for this song. Now I just need to figure out how to convert it to my computer. Auggh.

"Live on in my love"
By Tom Franzak

As the father has loved me
So I have loved you
Live on in my love
All this I tell you
That my joy may be yours
And your joy may be complete
Love one another as I loved you
There is no grater love than this
Than to lay down your life for your friends
Live on in my love
Live on in my love
There is no greater love than this
Then to lay down your life for your friends
Live on in my love
It was not you who chose me
It was I who chose you
Live on in my love
Know that I chose you to go fourth and bear fruit
Bear the fruit that must endure
All that you ask of the Father
In my name He will give to you
The command that I give
is that you love one another
Live on in my love
Live on in my love
There is no greater love than this
Then to lay down your life for your friends
Live on in my love
Live on in my love
There is no greater love than this
Then to lay down your life for your friends
Live on in my love

The pain of unbelief

There are so many different denominations of Christianity that claim to know Abba. The bible says unless you are born again you cannot see the kingdom. How many are truly saved and walk in His presence? These denominations separate His children from each other and put them in bondage. Their rules and regulations are just like the many laws added to the Torah by the Pharisees. They are so bound by their made up laws of God, they can’t see the forest thru the trees. They are so set in their ways. Trying to show them just won’t work, their heart is hardened in that area. We need to back off and let the Holy Spirit do the work. We are to help people but don’t expect them to believe until the Spirit shows them the truth. I found this out several months ago. I had told someone I saw their brother in heaven. I had waited since 2004. I did wait for Abba. I thought it was the right time to tell them. Let’s just say they didn’t take it very well. What was supposed to bring peace and restoration, actually brought anger and they no longer want to speak to me anymore. They were very close to their brother. The pain was unforgiving when he died. When I talked to his deceased brother from heaven, he told me that his brother was his best friend. Before he died, his brother tried to talked to him about Jesus, but he wouldn’t accept him. When he died, he thought his brother went to hell and he would never see him again. When I was with his deceased brother again, I asked how? He said “Yeshua asked me if I love Him. It was really hard because of the way my father was.” What was supposed to be a blessing, knowing that his brother is in heaven, has now became a stumbling block, an offense. I should have made sure it was ok to tell him. Hopefully he will soon believe me and want to talk to me again.
We need to be very careful what we say. We can make their unbelief worse. If they don't understand at that moment they won't believe. Their unbelief will cause them to stumble. In John ch 3V 11-12, Yeshua says to Nicodemus "Very truly I tell you, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony. I have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of heavenly things?" To believe they must have that action of faith. Knowing it deep down inside, deep in the nefesh, truth from the Spirit just like the parable of the seeds, it must bear fruit.

The Greatest Commandment

Gospel : Luke 22:13-38

We might obey God because we fear His wrath and punishment. We might choose to obey Him because we fear the consequences which He will visit upon us if we do not. We might obey Him because we fear damnation. Fear makes for a very pragmatic kind of relationship with God. It is the same reason we drive the speed limit — we fear the consequences of being caught breaking it. Yet it is also a very self-interested relationship. The emphasis is on protecting myself.

Love, on the other hand, is selfless. It is a higher path of service. The Apostle John explains that our faith in Messiah removes the fear motivation and purifies our service of God to one of pure love. (1 John 4:17-18)

Yeshua teaches that to love the LORD is the foremost commandment. (Mark 12:29-30) Our love for God should be the core impetus behind everything we do. It should be an unquenchable passion, such as a young man or woman feels for his or her betrothed.

Love is not too much of Him to ask of us. After all, "He first loved us." (1 John 4:19) His love was made manifest in that "He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins." (1 John 4:9-10)

Yet how do we express our love for God? The Apostle John goes on to teach us that the true expression of love for God is to keep His commandments and to love others (which is the second greatest commandment). He says, "For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome." (1 John 5:3) And he also says, "If someone says, 'I love God,' and hates his brother, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen." (1 John 4:20)

The ancient Rabbis (of the Sifrei) discerned two primary ways of demonstrating our love for God. The first is to study Torah, the revelation of God. If we truly love Him, we will do all we can to know Him and serve Him. The second is to bring others to love Him. If we truly love Him, we will desire to see others reconciled to Him as well. Therefore, we best show our love for God by studying His Torah, keeping His commandments, and bringing others into relationship with Him through His son.
