"Let there be Praise"

I love Sandi Patti's music. I have been listening to her old songs during my worship times. I also have been waking up with these songs inside me. Her voice just explodes with her love for Abba & Yeshua awesome!

"Because of who you are"

You spoke the words and all the worlds came into order
You waved your hands and planets filled the empty skies
You placed the woman and the man inside the garden
And though they fell they found compassion in your eyes

Oh Lord I stand amazed at the wonder of your deeds
and yet a greater wonder brings me to my knees
Lord I praise you, Because of who you are
Not just for all the mighty things that you have done
Lord I worship you, because of who you are
You're all the reason that I need to voice my praise
Because of who you are

One holy night you brought the promise from a virgin
And promise grew as he revealed to us your heart
Enduring love displayed through out his Crucifixion
And in the dark, you tore the grave and death apart

Oh Lord I stand amazed at the wonder of your deeds
and yet a greater wonder brings me to my knees
Lord I praise you, Because of who you are
Not just for all the mighty things that you have done
Lord I worship you, because of who you are
You're all the reason that I need to voice my praise
Because of who you are
Lord I praise you, Because of who you are
Not for all the mighty things that you have done
Lord I worship you, because of who you are
You're all the reason that I need to voice my praise
Because of who you are

How majestic is Your name

O Lord, our Lord
How majestic is Your name in all the earth
O Lord, our Lord
How majestic is Your name in all the earth

O Lord, we praise Your name
O Lord, we magnify Your name
Prince of peace, mighty God
O Lord, God Almighty

O, Lord, our Lord
How majestic is Your name in all the earth
O, Lord, our Lord
How majestic is Your name in all the earth

O Lord, we praise Your name
O Lord, we magnify Your name

Prince of peace, mighty God
O Lord, God Almighty, Almighty

O, Lord, our Lord
How majestic is Your name in all the earth

O Lord, we praise Your name
O Lord, we magnify Your name
O Lord, we praise Your name
O Lord, we magnify Your name

Prince of peace, mighty God
O Lord, God Almighty
Prince of peace, mighty God
O Lord, God Almighty
We magnify Your name

Let there be praise

Let there be praise
Let there be joy in our hearts
Forevermore
Let His love fill the air
And let there be praise, let there be praise
Let there, let there be praise

Let there be praise
Let there be joy in our hearts
Sing to the Lord
Give Him the glory
Let there be praise
Let there be joy in our hearts
Forevermore
Let His love fill the air
And let there be praise

He inhabits the praise of His people
And dwells deep within
The peace that He gives none can equal
He love, it knows no end
So lift your voices
With gladness sing
Proclaim through all the earth
That Jesus Christ is King

Let there be praise
Let there be joy in our hearts
Sing to the Lord
Give Him the glory
Let there be praise
Let there be joy in our hearts
Forevermore
Let His love fill the air
And let there be praise

When the Spirit of God is within us
We will overcome
In our weakness, His strength will defend us
When His praise is on our tongue
So lift your voices
With gladness sing
Proclaim through all the earth
That Jesus Christ is King

Let there be praise
Let there be joy in our hearts
Sing to the Lord
Give Him the glory
Let there be praise
Let there be joy in our hearts
Forevermore
Let His love fill the air
And let there be praise

And let there be praise
Let there be singing
Let there be music
Let there be honor
Let there be glory
Majesty worship and praise
Let there be praise

"That 18 inch drop"

Pastor Skip Heitzig is one of my favorite pastors that I listen to. He always has these little sayings that helps me understand and remember stuff from the bible. I like calling them "Skipisms." Here are a few of them, "He picks us up, brushes us off and hands us back to the Father." "salvation for the Jews before Jesus died is like a credit card." "Soap bubbles, soap bubbles, all is just soap bubbles." This saying, I love the most "It has to make that 18" drop from head knowledge to believing in your heart."
You see, anybody can read it, memorize it, and be able to talk the talk but once it makes that 18" drop, you now start believing in it and it starts to become second nature and your faith starts to grow more because you now believe it. You also begin to start trusting Him more and now you can walk the walk.

Psalm 13

Psalm 13 (How Long O Lord)
by Brian Doerksen

How long O Lord will You forget me
How long O Lord will You look the other way
How long O Lord must I wrestle with my thoughts
And every day have such sorrow in my heart

Look on me and answer, O God my Father
Bring light to my darkness before they see me fall

But I trust in Your unfailing love
Yes my heart will rejoice
Still I sing of Your unfailing love
You have been good, You will be good to me

The Story Behind The Song
This song is the end of a long journey for me. I have longed to see how we can incorporate more 'laments' in our modern worship experience for years, but writing a lament that congregations can sing together, seems to be much tougher than writing songs of joy. In my opinion, there are so many reasons we need more laments in our corporate worship. The Psalms are full of them and God's people have sung them for several millennia. Today, real people need a safe place to express their pain and grief, and still know they are accepted and loved by God and His people. For the broken-hearted and those who are grieving, singing only 'happy songs' can leave them on the outside looking in. I have included this song in this project for all of us who are going through tough times, yet still we want to come and worship because there is no other place where we can find true comfort. Like the Psalms, our laments can honestly express our pain and our questions, and can still have an expression of hope as well. In Psalm 13, the word "but" looms large! It's maybe the hinge word of the Psalm and our song. This is who we are; this is how we feel, but, in light of all that, I will still trust in You, O Lord. It's was especially gratifying to write this with Steve & Karen Mitchinson, very close friends from England, and Daphne, who has been a dear friend since 1985.

"Ancient of Days"

This one is one of my favorites, I saw Yeshua dancing to this one, loving His dad.

Ancient of Days
by Jamie Harvill, Gary Sadler

Blessing and honor
Glory and power
Be unto the Ancient of Days
From every nation
All of creation
Bow before the Ancient of Days
Every tongue in
Heaven and earth
Shall declare
Your glory
Every knee shall bow
At Your throne
In worship
You will be exalted
O God
And Your kingdom
Shall not pass away
O Ancient of Days

Your kingdom shall reign
Over all the earth
Sing unto
The Ancient of Days
For none can compare
To Your matchless worth
Sing unto
The Ancient of Days

O Ancient of Days
O Ancient of Days
O Ancient of Days
O Ancient of Days

"Learning to trust"

There is a lot of songs about Yeshua but not Abba. It seems rare and I don't know why. We talk & pray to Abba, why don't we sing to Him? Anyway, this is an oldie and he is singing to Abba, love it!

"Learning to trust"
By David Meece

There's a father in your sweetest dreams
Who's always there to meet your needs
He never ever let you down

There's a mother in your heart of hearts
Who always plays the perfect part
She never lets you hit the ground

This is the need of children
These are their tender dreams
And oh, how it hurts when they don't come true

That's why I'm learning to trust in You
In everything I do
I'm learning to trust in You

'Cause I know in my heart that You're true
I'm learning to trust in You
But sometimes it's so hard to do

Father, little children must grow up
And to grow we've got to learn to trust
And to trust we've got to cling to You

And when You tell me You will hold me close
It's the very thing I need the most
But it's the very hardest thing to do

I've got this pain inside me
It speaks to me loud and clear
When there's so much to gain there's always so much to lose

That's why I'm learning to trust in You
In everything I do
I'm learning to trust in You

'Cause I know in my heart that You're true
I'm learning to trust in You
But sometimes it's so hard to do

Keep calling me, drawing me closer
Don't let me hold back
Whatever it takes I must break through

The heart of a child is broken
But his time has come
Whatever he lost, I'll find in You

That's why I'm learning to trust in you
In everything I do
I'm learning to trust in You

'Cause I know in my heart that You're true
I'm learning to trust in You
But sometimes it's so hard to do

I'm learning to trust in You
In everything I do
I'm learning to trust in You

'Cause I know in my heart that You're true
I'm learning to trust in You
But sometimes it's so hard to do

Hard to do, learning to trust in You
So hard to do, learning to trust, it's so hard to do

When God Ran
By Benny Hester

Almighty God
The Great I Am
Immoveable Rock,
Omnipotent powerful

Awesome Lord
Victorious Warrior
Commanding King of Kings
Mighty Conquerer

And the only time
The only time I ever saw Him run

Was when He ran to me
Took me in His arms, held my head to His chest
Said "My son's come home again"
Lifted my face, wiped the tears from my eyes
With forgiveness in His voice
He said "Son, do you know I still love you?"

It caught me by surprise when God ran

The day I left home
I knew I'd broken His heart
I wondered then
If things could ever be the same

Then one night
I remembered His love for me
And down that dusty road
Ahead I could see

It's the only time
The only time I ever saw Him run

When He ran to me
Took me in His arms, held my head to His chest
Said "My son's come home again"
Lifted my face, wiped the tears from my eyes
With forgiveness in His voice
He said "Son, do you know I still love you?"

It caught me by surprise
It brought me to my knees
When God ran

I saw Him run to me
And then I ran to Him

Holy One, Righteous Judge
He turned my way
Now I know He's been waiting
For this day

And then He ran to me
Took me in His arms, held my head to His chest
Said "My son's come home again"
Lifted my face, wiped the tears from my eyes
With forgiveness in His voice
I felt His love for me again and then He Ran to me
Took me in His arms, held my head to His chest
Said "My son's come home again"
Lifted my face, wiped the tears from my eyes
With forgiveness in His voice
He said Son, He said Son, My Son
Do you know I still love you
Oh He ran to me
When God ran

"Abba's ace in His pocket"

It's funny how Abba does things to make "all things work together for His purpose." In His time means just that - His "time" has no meaning. He doesn't follow our rules. Abba timing will be according to His will not ours. About 10 years ago, Abba had me help someone to see their child in heaven. They saw them back in 2003 and was with them in heaven to see it, but I actually didn't pray for them until 2007 and went to heaven after I had prayed. They need to see their child at that moment but Abba had me pray for them much later after they already saw their child. I wasn’t ready to pray for them until 2007. We never know what Abba is up to. Abba always has an Ace up His sleeve. We can assume we know but we know what that word always leads us to do. There is always a reason why Abba doesn't allow things to happen the way we want it to happen. You may be ready for it but the people around you are not or the other person involved isn't also. You might have already helped someone and not even know it until he allows you to remember and understand. Abba has blocked my understanding at times until I was ready for it. We must wait for Abba's timing no matter how crazy it sounds. If we don’t wait for the other person to understand, we will be just fighting the windmills like Don Quixote. Abba will just block their understanding until they are ready to hear it. There are so many things He wants us to know but if we are not ready to hear them….we must wait for His timing not ours.
Psalm 69:32-33 "The humble have seen it and are glad; You who seek God, let your heart revive. For the Lord hears the needy and does not despise His who are prisoners."

"Carrying the torch"

When Abba put Abraham in a deep sleep, allowing him to be in the spirit, I believe Yeshua is the one who walks in-between the cut up carcass with a torch. I also believe the torch symbolizes the Holy Spirit. Yeshua took the place of Abraham, to make a covenant between Him and Abba that no one can break. When Yeshua died on the cross, He completed that covenant. He made us one with himself. We now have the Holy Spirit in us, doing the same things He did on this earth. Now we can carry that torch for other people like He did for Abraham. To help a hurting world. To be an intercessory prayer warrior, hearing the Spirit telling us who to pray for and to help them.

"Go Light Your World"
by Kathy Troccoli

There is a candle in every soul
Some brightly burning, some dark and cold
There is a Spirit who brings a fire
Ignites a candle and makes His home

So Carry your candle, run to the darkness
Seek out the hopeless, confused and torn
Hold out your candle for all to see it
Take your candle, and go light your world
Take your candle, and go light your world

Frustrated brother, see how he's tried to
Light his own candle some other way
See now your sister, she's been robbed and lied to
Still holds a candle without a flame

So Carry your candle, run to the darkness
Seek out the lonely, the tired and worn
Hold out your candle for all to see it
Take your candle, and go light your world
Take your candle, and go light your world

Cause We are a family whose hearts are blazing
So let's raise our candles and light up the sky
Praying to our Father, in the name of Jesus
Make us a beacon in darkest times

So Carry your candle, run to the darkness
Seek out the helpless, deceived and poor
Hold out your candle for all to see it
Take your candle, and go light your world

Carry your candle, run to the darkness
Seek out the hopeless, confused and torn
Hold out your candle for all to see it
Take your candle, and go light your world
Take your candle, and go light your world

Abba's Heart

What is Abba’s heart? in John 14:5, Yeshua says “He who has seen Me has seen the Father.” We can say what Yeshua did on this earth was part of Abba's heart. Yeshua teached, healed, corrected, and loved us. Then when Yeshua returned He sent us a helper, a part of Abba to do the same things He did. By having an intimate fellowship just like He did with Abba. In the first part of the song, it talks about Yeshua helping us then it talks about us helping one another. Todah Abba for your love for us and in bringing back the fellowship we once had in you.

Matt 10:20 "For it is not you who speak, but it is the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you."

Luke 24:49"And behold, I am sending forth the promise of My Father upon you; but you are to stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.”

John 4:23 "But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers."
John 5:19 Therefore Jesus answered and was saying to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner."

"Spirit of the Sovereign Lord"
Vineyard Music

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord
Is upon you
Because he has anointed you to preach good news
The Spirit of the Sovereign God
Is upon you
Because he has anointed you to preach good news

He has sent you to the poor
(This is the year)
To bind up the broken hearted
(This is the day)
To bring freedom to the captives
(This is the year)
And to release the ones in darkness

This is the year
of the favor of the Lord
This is the day
of the vengeance of our God
This is the year
Its the year of the favor of the Lord
This is the day
of the vengeance of our God

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord
Is upon us
Because he has anointed us to preach good news
The Spirit of the Sovereign God
Is upon us
Because he has anointed us to preach good news

He will comfort all who mourn
(This is the year)
He will provide for those who grieve in Zion
(This is the day)
He's pouring out His oil of gladness
(This is the year)
Instead of mourning we will praise

This is the year
of the favor of the Lord
This is the day
It's the day of the glory of the Lord
This is the year
of the vengeance of our God
This is the day

He will comfort all who mourn
(This is the year)
He will provide for those who grieve in Zion
(This is the day)
He's pouring out His oil of gladness
(This is the year)
Instead of mourning we will praise, praise our God this is the year

This is the year
It's the year of the vengeance of the Lord
This is the day
Can you see the glory of our God
This is the year
It's the year of the favor of the Lord
This is the day

"it's red!"

Looking for a house is not as fun as people think. People are trying to sell you their bag of goods while the bank tries to convince you to to get a larger loan. It is disheartening especially when a luxury car is worth more than what you can afford but I came prepared. I had taken first time home buyers classes and talked to a loan specialist. He was impressed at what I knew and I would not let him approve me past my budget. This is a very serious investment not to take lightly but I'm also letting Abba handle it. Abba knows what we need even before we ask.
Back in May 1997, I started talking to my mom about getting my own car after I graduate in June and go full time at work. I was set on getting a Geo Tracker. She was talking to me about God helping me get a car. I said "yea your right He can, but it can't be red." She said "accept what he gives you." I said "yea but it still can't be red" A few days later, driving home Yeshua says "so what if it is red?"grumbling under my breath I said "I guess I'll have to accept it if it is red." I went to many dealerships and they pretty much laughed at me. Saying you can't get one unless its new. I couldn't afford a new one. I told my mom what they said and she said "come down with me where I got my car." She wouldn't take no for an answer. I went and the sales person explained they are very hard to get because the owners don't give them up, we sell them as fast as they come in. He tried to sell me another car but my heart was set on a Tracker. A week later my mom says let's go back and see what they have. I didn't want to go but knew I should go and honor her. When we arrived, the same sales person ran out of the building waving his hands telling us one just came in on the truck. It was in the car wash getting ready to be detailed, marked & tagged. I was so excited. I asked the color and he said maroon. They brought it out and the first thing I said was "it's red!" it looked exactly like the color of my fire truck when the sun hit it. The Tracker came from Canada and the person who owned it had low miles and it was also fully loaded. The car looked almost brand new. I barley could afford it with what I made at Caldors. My mom said we can help and cosigned with me. Then my father passed away 4 months later. I had to take over the bills. I asked Abba I need to make at least 10 an hr to pay the bills. I started at my new career job in Jan. at 10.00 hr. Then my mom lost her job. I don't know how I got thru it but I know Abba provided.
So this time around I'm going to trust and no matter what If Abba wants me to have a house, I'll have it.

"Me & Becky"

My sister Becky loves this song. She says the song reminds her of her & I. Funny thing is tomorrow I will be going to see a house. I have been pre-approved for a loan and have started looking at houses. My sister is also now ready to leave her group home and live on her own. Hopefully I can get a multi-family and rent the other apartment to her. She will be independent but will have her big sis next to her.

Me & Becky
By Chris Rice
Becky has a house on abundant life Boulevard
A good name, a good family, and butterflies in her yard
Becky loves Jesus and really wants to make Him proud
She tears up in church and she sings her harmonies loud
She's got a Bible by the bed
A prayer journal, and a fish on her car
She makes sure to bow her head
And give thanks in every restaurant
But is that enough?

C'mon Becky, let's go for a ride
If I'm driving too fast then I apologize
But there's a world out there that we left behind
Full of souls as important as yours and mine
Looks like a reckless road, and a sacrifice
And I'm crazy scared it may cost our lives
But then I remember Jesus died
So c'mon Becky, let's go for a ride

I'm rolling up to Becky's house on my Sunday drive
I have to laugh to myself 'cause it looks exactly like mine
I smile and wave at all the happy people strolling by
We've got the same walk, same talk
And the same sparkle in our eyes
'Cause we're thankful for the blessings
But maybe we could lay 'em aside
I get a feeling we might be
Missin' the time of our lives
So hop in and hold on tight

C'mon Becky, let's go for a ride
If I'm driving too fast then I apologize
But there's a world out there that we left behind
Full of souls as important as yours and mine
Looks like a reckless road, and a sacrifice
And I'm crazy scared it may cost our lives
But then I remember Jesus died
So c'mon Becky, c'mon Becky

We're so thankful for the blessings
But maybe we could lay 'em aside
I get a feeling we might be
Headed for the time of our lives
So hop in and hold on tight
C'mon Becky, let's go for a ride
If I'm driving too fast then I apologize
But there's a world out there that we left behind
Full of souls as important as yours and mine
Looks like a reckless road, and a sacrifice
And I'm crazy scared it may cost our lives
But then I remember Jesus died
So c'mon Becky, let's go for a ride

Let's go, Let's go, Let's go, Let's go, Let's go

"The trust factor"

"It's gonna be alright"
Dennis Jernigan

It's gonna be alright, child
Even through the darkest night, child
I'll even use the darkness
To teach you how to hear Me
It's gonna be alright now
Even if you don't see how
I'll even use your failure
To help you to draw near Me
So hear me. I am calling,
"Child, come falling deeper in love with Me."
Trust Me, you must let go
Or you will never know any deeper love in Me
It's gonna be alright here
If you will let Me hold your heart near
I'll even use your sorrows
To teach You how to love Me
It's gonna be alright, child
I'll hold you really close and tight child
I'll even use Your woundings
To help you know more of Me
So hear me. I am calling,
"Child, come falling deeper in love with Me."
Just trust me, you must let go
Or you will never know any deeper love in Me
Why do you hold on to the things of your past
Let go and cling to Me and love that will last
How can you know Me if you do not trust My love
Let go, You'll find My love is more than enough
Oh Hear Me. I am calling,
"Child, come falling deeper in love with Me."
Oh trust me, you must let go
Or you will never know any deeper love in Me
Letting go will set you free
It's gonna be alright now
Even if you can't see how
I'll even use your failure
To help you to draw near Me

Mighty warrior overcomer

This song is my favorite from this album. He has sung it for Promise Keepers but I believe this song can be also applied to women. We are one as the body of Christ. I love this song and I’m adding the (Dennis Speaks) before it. Enjoy :O)
From “Giant Killer: A Heart Like David” album
Life is full of giants. Temptations assail the flesh, strongholds seem to overwhelm us to the point it seems easier sometimes to give up to those giants. Sin abounds but giants can be defeated. David faced Goliath whose name literally means “naked and ashamed” and my own sin has left me feeling that way, naked and ashamed and so bound by that shame, that I was afraid to get honest. David though didn’t just face Goliath, he and his mighty men faced four more giants according to God’s word, but even they were all defeated. I faced many giants that left me feeling like there was no hope. Some might call their giants, strongholds. Some call them thorns in the flesh or even constant temptation, but what I discovered is that giants are more easily put down when we face them with the proper stones just as David did. Before any stones I casted could be effective I had to understand some things about my own identity. I had to come to terms with the fact that my particular sin was not the issue. Getting to the root of that sin was the only way to cut off that giant’s head. I first had to understand I had based everything I believe about myself upon a lie. That lie: I am rejected. Now if I believe I'm rejected, then I'll begin to give place to feelings of rejection and as I dwell on those feelings I begin to act like one who's rejected. So how do I defeat that giant? I put off that lie I am rejected and I believe I am accepted by my father no matter what. It's like casting a stone of God's truth at the giant of rejection. I then begin to base everything I believe about myself upon that truth. Feelings of rejection are then replaced by feelings of acceptance and those feelings of acceptance, guess what? They begin to led me to act like one who is accepted. Quite simply, I cast that stone of truth and then walk in that truth and in so doing I cut off the head of that giant. Now there will always be giants but now I know how to deal with them. I am who my father says I am and I am a GIANT KILLER!

Might Man
Dennis Jernigan

Let no temptation define who you'll be
No present feeling
No past failures, you're redeemed
No weapon formed against you
Can ever reach as far
As the depth that I've redeemed you
Just be who the Father says you are
And just because a battle
Seems never to end
It doesn't mean you losing
Just means you've something to defend
And child you must remember
Who you are called to be
A mighty man of valor
No matter what
You have the victory
Take up the stone of faith
And put that giant down
Take up the sword of the Spirit
Take back that stolen ground
And lift your praise to the Father
Who gives you victory
You are a mighty man of valor
A child of God, victorious, redeemed
Knowing Christ is worth the battle
That is waged against your mind
With each giant you've defeated,
It seems four more come right behind
So fight the fight and do not waver
And warrior run the race
Mighty warrior overcomer
You win this fight by trusting in His grace
Take up the stone of faith
And put that giant down
Take up the sword of the Spirit
Take back that stolen ground
And lift your praise to the Father
Who gives you victory
You are a mighty man of valor
A child of God, victorious, redeemed
Just because you fall
You're not defeated
Never sound retreat
Get back up and lift the standard
Of the overcoming king
Don't give up though you grow weary
By His grace rise up again
For the truth is when the dust of war
is cleared away, we win
Take up that stone of faith
And put that giant down
Take up the sword of the Spirit
Take back that stolen ground
And lift your praise to the Father
Who gives you victory
You are a mighty man of valor
A child of God, victorious, redeemed
You are a mighty man of valor
A child of God, victorious, redeemed
Revelation 21:7 "He who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son."
